What is Ravintsara Betsara hydrosol?

During distillation we recover, once cooled, the water vapor which has captured the essential oil molecules after passing through the leaves. Subsequently, through the decantation process, the essential oil (which is lighter than water) rises to the surface and the lower layer that remains is what we call hydrosol or even floral water. .
During this process, the hydrosol or floral water which was passed through by the essential oil molecules captured part of the benefits of the plant. To put it simply, hydrosol has the same benefits as essential oil but in a much softer and lighter version.

What is Ravintsara?

Ravintsara is a camphor tree, from the laurel family, with evergreen leaves that have yellow flowers and small red berries. This camphor tree is particularly known for being part of the composition of tiger balm . Originally from China, ravintsara was established in Madagascar more than a century ago. The Malagasy climate and terroir have allowed it to develop different properties and benefits in the use of its leaves . Its name, ravintsara, comes from the Malagasy translation which means “good leaf”, “ravin” for leaf and “tsara” for good!

The use of ravintsara leaf would make it possible to fight against various ailments of the body and to help strengthen the immune system in the event of a viral infection.

How to use organic Ravintsara hydrosol?
