How to use Walnut Husk, 250 g from Centifolia?

Preparation tips :
In a large bowl, gradually add warm water to the powders to obtain a relatively thick paste. Be careful not to use metal utensils.
Before applying to the hair, let the mixture rest, covered with plastic film, for 1 hour to 2 hours so that the color develops.

Quantities to use as an indication:
For short hair: 50 to 100g of powder
For mid-length hair (shoulders): 150 to 200g of powder
For long hair (mid-back): 200 to 250g of powder
For very long hair (mid-hip): 300 to 500g of powder

Application tips:
Apply the mixture strand by strand in a thick layer to preferably unwashed hair. When the hair is well soaked, wrap everything in plastic film and leave to set.
The exposure time varies greatly depending on porosity, hair color and the desired result (from 1 hour to 12 hours). The longer the exposure time, the more pronounced the color will be.
Then rinse the hair thoroughly until all residue is removed. Rinse only with water, wait 48 to 72 hours for the color to develop before shampooing for the first time.
The final color result will only be visible two to three days after application, allowing time for the color to oxidize.

Beauty tip:
On fine, sensitized and dry hair, it is advisable to add 1 to 2 tablespoons of organic vegetable oil (castor, coconut, argan) or slightly melted shea butter to your mixture because henna can slightly dry out the fiber. capillary.
We recommend that you use Centifolia leave-in lotion with raspberry vinegar which, thanks to its acidity, “closes the hair scales” and gives it shine.

When regrowing, can I only do the roots? Will there be a line when my hair grows back?

It is possible to only do the roots. However, be careful: so that there is no demarcation, it is necessary to know the ratio of the mixture of powders which corresponds to your color as well as the exposure time and to reproduce it when you only do your roots .

As my scalp is sensitive, I get itchy after using natural coloring. What can I do ? In this case, you can add a tablespoon of vegetable oil to henna. You can also limit the application time of henna, since itching often appears after 3 hours of application.

Henna has a drying effect on my hair. How can I fix it? Indeed, henna tends to dry out the hair more. When preparing, you can add yogurt (to make the preparation smoother) or a tablespoon of vegetable oil (preferred), honey or vegetable glycerin.

My hair color is turning too red, what can I do? The more henna you do, the darker your hair will be. If you want to keep a light color, once the desired color is obtained, cut the henna with neutral henna or only color the roots.
