What is Bacopa Monnieri?
Bacopa monnieri is a small plant that does not exceed 20 to 25 cm. A perennial, multi-annual and creeping succulent plant, bacopa has slender, fleshy and branched stems. Its thick, edible leaves are opposite, spatulate. Its small white to pale blue axillary flowers are made up of four to five petals, arranged opposite the stem. The bacopa fruit is capsular and ovoid. A plant growing in tropical and subtropical regions, bacopa does not tolerate frost.
