1 tablet provides 600mg of red yeast rice (Monascus Purpureus) with 1.6% Monacoline, including 9.5mg of Monacoline K.

The benefits of red yeast rice

Red yeast rice has been used in Chinese medicine for hundreds of years. It was found in Asian gastronomy, to season and color, and as a food supplement. It still holds a preponderant place in the Asian diet.

Red yeast rice is the result of the fermentation of a microscopic red medicinal fungus found on rice: Monascus purpureus. We cultivate the mushrooms on the rice, we carry out the fermentation (it is during this phase that the mushroom will secrete the red pigments), we dry the rice and the mushroom, in order to be able to grind them to obtain a powder. The main active ingredients of red yeast rice are:

• Monacolins: monacolin K, isoflavones, phytosterols and unsaturated fatty acids which are natural statins.
• Sterols and monounsaturated fatty acids

Red yeast rice is combined here with CoQ10 to limit the side effects of statins, even natural ones. The coating is gastro-resistant for optimal absorption of active ingredients. The product has no added sugars, no sweeteners, no flavors, no nanotechnology and no flavor enhancers.
