Since 1990, Cook spices and herbs have come from certified organic farming. If at the beginning Cook spices all came from Madagascar, Cook now also looks for them in India, Turkey, Egypt... Cook spices come as much as possible from France or Europe.
From the beginning, Cook has strived to improve the working conditions of producers in these distant countries. By going there to check, first, and then paying the right price. Since 2002, they have made this commitment a reality via the Bio Equitable logo, controlled by Ecocert.
At the beginning of this range of spices, Cook packaged them in glass bottles. Since 2001, for social, ecological and economic reasons, they have now been offering them in PET bottles.
