Lavender aspic essential oil
There are around thirty species of lavender including true or fine lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) which grows above 800 m and aspic lavender or “large lavender” which is found below this altitude. Lavandin comes from the crossing of the pollens of these 2 species of lavender.
Aspic lavender takes its name from its use in cases of snake bites, the asp viper of Mediterranean climates. It is quite specific for severe skin burns.
Compared to true lavender essential oil, spike lavender essential oil contains a lot of cineole-1,8 and linalool as well as camphor.
It contains a little camphoraceous ketones! No contraindication to the physiological doses and uses recommended by a specialist doctor for this so-called “cineole” chemotype.

Lavender aspic essential oil is used pure or very slightly diluted, directly on burns, sunburns, stings, abrasions, etc.
To relieve and help treat severe bronchitis and pharyngitis: do a short massage or rub on the bronchi, back and throat with the essential oil of lavender aspic with cineole diluted in a vegetable oil. Dilution of 30 or 40% essential oil.
