Super Protein Vegan Cacao Lion's Mane, organic plant-based protein with lion's mane mushroom

Iswari's Super Protein Vegan Cacao Lion's Mane combines two approaches in a single pouch: 24 g of plant-based protein per serving for muscle recovery, and 2.25% organic Lion's Mane mushroom (Hericium erinaceus) for cognitive support. All this with the DigeZyme enzyme complex for optimized digestion and an intense natural cacao flavor with no added sugar. Certified organic, vegan, gluten-free. 400 g recyclable pouch.

Why this protein makes the difference

The base is 60% hemp protein, rich in essential amino acids, natural omega-3s, and minerals. The cacao powder (8%) provides the intense chocolate aroma and antioxidant polyphenols. DigeZyme (0.2%) improves the assimilation of plant-based proteins and reduces common digestive discomforts associated with plant proteins: less bloating, better absorption of amino acids.

The true differentiator of this product is the addition of organic Lion's Mane (2.25%). This mushroom, also known as bearded tooth or pom-pom blanc, is known in traditional Asian medicine for its richness in hericenones and erinacines, two families of diterpenes studied for their role in supporting cognitive functions. It is a unique combination of athletic performance and mental clarity in a single post-workout serving.

24 g of protein, 3.2 g of natural BCAAs per serving. High in iron, high in magnesium, high in phosphorus, source of natural omega-3s.

FAQ

What is Lion's Mane and why add it to a protein?

Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus) is a medicinal mushroom studied for its hericenones and erinacines, two compounds that cross the blood-brain barrier and support the production of NGF (Nerve Growth Factor). Its addition to a sports protein responds to a growing demand for products that support both physical performance and mental clarity, particularly relevant for morning workouts.

Can you taste the mushroom?

No. Lion's Mane represents 2.25% of the formula and its taste is very discreet. The flavor profile is dominated by the intense organic cacao. No perceptible mushroom aftertaste.

Is this protein suitable for people who do not exercise?

Yes. It can be used by anyone wanting to increase their daily intake of plant-based protein or wanting to integrate Lion's Mane into their routine. The dose of DigeZyme also facilitates digestion for those sensitive to plant-based proteins.

How is it different from Iswari Red Fruit or Vanilla Banana Super Vegan Protein?

Iswari protein formulas share the same base (hemp protein, DigeZyme), but the Cacao Lion's Mane is the only one to incorporate a medicinal mushroom. It is the reference to choose if you are looking for a product that combines muscle recovery and cognitive support in one serving.
