What is Meadowsweet herbal tea?

Meadowsweet, also known by the botanical name Filipendula ulmaria, is a perennial herb native to Europe, Asia and North America. It grows in wetlands, along waterways and in meadows.

The plant grows between 1.5 and 2 meters in height and produces large cone-shaped white or pink flowers, which bloom from June to September. The leaves are pinnate, with toothed, pointed leaflets.
