For 5 people, gradually pour 250g of semolina into 1l of boiling water while stirring constantly, salt, and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Polenta can be prepared as a main dish (puree), as an appetizer (shaped in different molds, cooled, then grilled in the oven or pan), as a side dish in place of bread, or taken for your picnic or as a substitute for pie crust.
