Silica's essential quality allows the human body to efficiently absorb and assimilate minerals and vitamins. The connective tissues of the human body (cell walls) are composed of collagen or elastin. These molecules require silica, the levels of which decrease starting around age twenty. Therefore, an external supply is necessary, particularly for the epidermis. For this reason, organic silica is present in most products in the ZAO range.

For a mattifying effect, apply the compact powder with a ZAO powder brush. For coverage on problem skin, apply the compact powder with a sponge. In both cases, always choose a shade that matches your skin tone and use the product directly after your day cream. For a perfect complexion, after your foundation, apply the compact powder all over your face, choosing a shade lighter than your skin tone. For a natural finish, use a powder brush; for a soft, doll-like effect, use a sponge.
