Why are these active ingredients particularly effective for dry hair?

Babassu oil (Orbignya oleifera) is a penetrating vegetable oil with a structure similar to coconut oil but without the disadvantage of solidifying. Its richness in lauric acid (50%) allows it to cross the hair cuticle to nourish the cortex from within, filling in structural gaps that make hair porous, dull, and brittle. Castor oil, through its ricinoleic acids, forms an external protective sheath on the hair fiber that maintains hydration and provides shine and coating. Hydrolyzed quinoa proteins (Hydrolyzed Quinoa), which are very small in molecular size, penetrate the meso-cortex and strengthen native keratin—particularly effective on chemically treated or mechanically stressed hair (repeated blow-drying, wind, sun). Hyaluronic acid (Sodium Hyaluronate) settles on the cuticle to attract and retain water, conditioning and restructuring the hair over the long term.
