Why are mild surfactants essential for dry hair?

Conventional shampoos use sulfates (SLS, SLES) which clean effectively but disrupt the cuticle's intercellular lipids, creating roughness that makes hair dull, difficult to detangle, and weakens the keratin. The mild surfactants in the Nourishing Cream Shampoo (based on sugar glucosides and alkyl glutamate) clean by encapsulating impurities and excess sebum without disrupting the ionic structure of the keratin or destabilizing the natural hydrolipidic film. Castor oil (sodium ricinoleate during formulation) redeposits onto the cuticle during rinsing for a persistent light coating. Quinoa proteins (polypeptide fragments of 500-5000 Da) bind to areas of degraded keratin to consolidate them and reduce porosity.

How to use the Nourishing Cream Shampoo?
