Why alfalfa as a source of chlorophyll?
Alfalfa is one of the plants with the highest concentrations of chlorophyll relative to its dry weight—up to 8mg/g. It also contains natural chlorophyll a and b, precursors to active magnesium chlorophyllin. In liquid form, chlorophyllin is directly solubilized and bioavailable upon ingestion, with no need for capsule dissolution. Alfalfa also provides trace amounts of vitamin K1, saponins, and phytosterols.
