Discover the organic raspberry leaves for herbal tea from the brand Herbiers de France: dried leaves, 25 g. Certified organic farming, in a kraft bag.
The raspberry plant (Rubus idaeus) is a shrub familiar to the undergrowth and gardens of Europe. It is cultivated for its fruit, but its dried leaves have also been used in herbal tea in the herbalist tradition for centuries.
Botanical presentation
Rubus idaeus is a shrub of the Rosaceae family, with arched, slightly thorny stems 1 to 2 meters high. Its leaves, composed of 3 to 7 serrated leaflets, are dark green on top, and whitish and downy underneath. The leaves are harvested in spring and early summer, before or during flowering, then dried.
They contain tannins, flavonoids (quercetin, kaempferol), phenolic acids, and minerals (calcium, magnesium, iron, potassium).
Aromatic and taste profile
Raspberry leaf infusion offers a clear, amber-colored liqueur. Its taste is herbaceous and slightly astringent, with subtle notes reminiscent of fruit and very little bitterness. It is a mild herbal tea, pleasant plain, with a drizzle of honey, or as a cold infusion with a little lemon in the summer.

- Water: simmering, approximately 90-95°C
- Infusion: 5 to 10 minutes, covered, depending on your taste
