Ladrôme organic castor vegetable oil is extracted by cold pressing the seeds of Ricinus communis. Thick, viscous and highly nourishing, it is the reference oil for intensive hair care, eyelashes and eyebrows. Why choose castor oil?

Ricinoleic acid, a hydroxylated fatty acid specific to castor oil, gives it a viscosity and film-forming power that coats the hair fiber, strengthens the shaft of fragile hair and protects keratinized areas (eyelashes, eyebrows, nails) from mechanical and chemical damage. Applied regularly to the scalp, it deeply nourishes the hair follicles and improves the general condition of dry, damaged or weakened hair caused by coloring and heat treatments.

Its very thick texture makes it difficult to use pure on the lengths: it can be easily diluted with a light oil (argan, sweet almond, jojoba) to facilitate application and rinsing.

How to use

Hair mask: apply by massaging into the scalp and lengths, alone or diluted 50/50 in a light vegetable oil. Leave on for 1 to 2 hours (or overnight under a shower cap) before shampooing. 1 to 2 times a week.

Eyelashes and eyebrows: apply with a small clean brush or cotton swab on eyelashes and eyebrows every evening. Leave on overnight.

Nails: massage into cuticles and brittle nails 2 to 3 times a week.
