A white substance extracted from bamboo joints, mainly composed of pure silica, this ingredient has been widely used in oriental medicine.
Organic silica, a component of connective tissue, is present throughout the human body and regenerates the epidermis by participating in the synthesis of collagen and elastin. Over time, our silica reserves diminish, leading to loss of elasticity and demineralization of the skin. It is therefore necessary to regularly replenish the epidermis through transdermal means.

Silica's essential quality is its ability to allow the human body to efficiently absorb and assimilate minerals and vitamins. The connective tissues of the human body (cell walls) are composed of collagen or elastin. These molecules require silica, the levels of which decrease starting around age twenty. Therefore, an external supply is necessary, particularly for the epidermis. For this reason, organic silica is present in most products in the ZAO range.

Instructions for use:
MineralSilk should be used after a moisturizer. Pour a small amount of powder into the lid of the bamboo jar. Then, gently press the kabuki brush into the powder, swirling it around to coat the bristles. Finally, lightly tap off any excess powder before applying it to your face in circular motions.

Beauty Tip: Like compact powder, Mineral Silk also helps to set makeup for better hold.
To enhance your complexion, after applying your shade, use a darker Mineral Silk (2 numbers) as blush.
