Sodium polyitaconate is a 100% plant-based and biodegradable polymer (derived from itaconic acid, sourced from fermentation) that forms a flexible, breathable film on the hair cuticle — it ensures a light hold without the plasticizing film of conventional acrylic resins (PVP, VA/Crotonates) that weigh down and stick to the hair. Hydrolyzed vegetable proteins coat the hair fiber and temporarily reinforce weakened keratin areas, improving resistance to mechanical stress (brushing, blow-drying). Organic green tea extract (Camellia sinensis, rich in catechins) provides antioxidant protection on the cuticle against free radicals produced by heat. Mallow extract (Malva sylvestris, polysaccharide mucilages) naturally conditions and softens the strands.
