How does the root touch-up spray work?

The Biokap root touch-up spray uses iron oxide pigments (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499) — the same mineral pigments used in certified cosmetics — which mechanically deposit onto the surface of the hair cuticle through simple projection. Unlike oxidative coloring, there is no chemical penetration into the cortex or reaction with melanin: the action is purely physical and reversible. The formula incorporates conditioning active ingredients (organic argan, Rice Phyto-Keratin, panthenol, cystine) that condition the fiber during application. The propellant is dimethyl ether, a liquefied gas of plant origin that dissipates immediately without residue. The result is matte and natural, with no plastic-like effect.
