Abiocom

Abiocom, founded 11 years ago, is a Toulouse-based company specializing in the development and distribution of products of natural origin, certified ecological and organic through a network of 1,600 partner organic stores.

It offers innovative products, mostly made in France, in the areas of food supplements, cosmetics, makeup, herbal teas and eco-housing.

Abiocom imposes detailed specifications on its manufacturers, with extremely specific technical requirements and strict compliance with the regulatory framework.

The latter must comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and are all aware of environmental issues. They use raw materials that are mainly natural or from organic farming.

In the interests of traceability, Abiocom relies on regulatory agencies and independent laboratories which ensure permanent longitudinal control of manufactured products (conformity of raw materials and labeling, plant dosages, active ingredient content, etc.).

Organic certified products also benefit from regular checks by certification bodies, which analyse the quality of the materials, the different production phases and the conformity of product labelling.

A choice of quality raw materials.

For cosmetics, the selected laboratories strive to use ingredients that are mostly natural or organic.

Some are even completely banned from the specifications, such as parabens, PEGs, phenoxyethanol, propylene glycol and nanoparticles.

When formulating the products, the materials are systematically compared to the recommendations of specialist journalist Rita Stiens.

 For food supplements, the majority of selected plants have a high concentration of standardized active ingredients, thus guaranteeing their dosage and effectiveness. They meet the regulatory requirements necessary for the use of nutritional health claims.

French manufacturing

Abiocom has chosen to entrust the manufacturing of its products to French suppliers in order to:

• Prioritize local jobs and thus contribute to local and/or national economic influence.
• Limit the carbon footprint by favoring short circuits.
