Centifolia Decyl Glucoside — Mild Plant-Based Surfactant for Shower Gels and Shampoos
The plant-based cleansing surfactant for your DIY formulas with Centifolia Decyl Glucoside: 200ml of non-ionic surfactant derived from sugar and coconut (glucose + decyl alcohol), gentle on the skin and mucous membranes, biodegradable. Foaming and cleansing product for homemade shower gels, shampoos, and micellar waters.
Benefits of Decyl Glucoside
- Mild plant-based surfactant: decyl glucoside is a non-ionic alkyl glucoside derived from the condensation of glucose (corn or wheat sugar) and decanol (coconut fatty alcohol). Non-ionic = very gentle on the skin and mucous membranes, with no risk of irritation at normal dosages.
- Biodegradable, sulfate-free: a gentle alternative to conventional SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) and SLES -- certified by many natural cosmetic standards.
- Compatible with all skin types, including sensitive skin.
