Description of Lithothamnium Vecteur Santé.

Lithothamnium is a red alga that grows naturally on sandy bottoms in certain bays, at a depth of about thirty meters. Its very slow growth and remarkably porous structure allow it to effectively filter and absorb all the precious nutrients from the ocean, including Calcium and Magnesium.

This alga is mainly composed of calcium carbonate (CaCO3) at 87.5%, which is equivalent to an average concentration of 30% elemental Calcium.
