What is Vit'all+ Organic Chaga?
Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) is a parasitic fungus that grows on birch trees in the boreal forests of Eurasia and North America. Used for centuries in traditional Siberian and Russian medicine, it contains polysaccharides (30% including beta-glucans), fungal triterpenes (2% including inotodiol, betulin, and betulinic acid), polyphenols (5%), melanins, and minerals. The Vit'all+ extract is derived from hand-harvested organic wild Chaga, obtained through 100% aqueous eco-extraction. 14:1 ratio, equivalent to 5.6 g of dried mushroom. ECOCERT organic certified. Manufactured in Sarthe by Vit'all+, a French family business since 1987.

Chaga
A birch mushroom
Chaga grows on birch trees and forms a black crust, rich in melanin. It also contains phenolic acids.
Betulin and betulinic acid
By parasitizing the birch tree, Chaga concentrates specific triterpenes in its biomass: betulin and betulinic acid. These triterpenes are absent in cultivated mushrooms.
