What is AHCC, Shiitake extract from Vit'all+?
AHCC® is a patented extract of shiitake mycelium concentrated with 19% highly bioavailable and active alpha-1,4-glucans. It has been the subject of numerous scientific studies including 10 clinical studies. AHCC® supports the body's immune defenses.
AHCC® is obtained using an innovative process for cultivating shiitake mycelia in a liquid medium allowing natural fermentation. During fermentation, enzymes hydrolyze certain polysaccharides into low molecular weight alpha-1,4-glucans (<5KDa>).
